GULF HIGH SCHOOL 20 YEAR REUNION

CLASS OF 1990

 

Wow! Can you believe it has been 20 years since high school, and 10 years since our last reunion? Well, we are one year out and let the planning begin......... In the spirit of saving money, we will be planning the reunion ourselves eliminating fees from professional reunion companies. This will help keep cost down which in return, more classmates will attend.

 

We will need everyones' help with locating classmates and will depend greatly on every committee throughout the reunion to get this done.

First, I have opened a bank account under GHS C/O 90. All monies / donations pertaining to the reunion will go through this account. At this time we ask that you help support the planning of our 20 year reunion by mailing in your non-refundable check today for $25.00, so our plans can continue! We need a minimal of 100 checks by no later than November 15, 2009 to precede with the reunion plans. If you are planning to attend the reunion, it will be deducted from your ticket price, once the tickets go on sale.

 

Why is the check non-refundable? Because this money will be used as deposit money for banquet hall location, food, DJ/ Band, photographer, mailing, phone calls and misc.

supplies. Hundreds of hours go into planning a reunion and we want to give you the most cost effective and memorable reunion that everyone can attend. Not to mention, memories that will last a lifetime!!!!

Committee #1 Class Video for 20 Year Reunion

This video will play throughout the night and will be sold at the reunion. It will incorporate the GHS video yearbook, pictures from the 10year reunion and up to 3 photos that each alumni would like to submit.

 

Committee #2 T-Shirt

Anyone own a T-shirt business out there or have any connections? You could design our 20 year reunion T-shirt.

 

Committee #3 Printing/ Signs / Memory Book/ Name Tags

Anyone own a Printing/ Copy / Sign business? Signs will need to be made for 3 events throughout the weekend. The memory book will contain all information about reunion, class roster with current numbers, address, photos, advertisements and more........

Are you looking to donate something to the reunion or do you know someone who will??? Then this is a place for you!!! We will need items donated for raffles & door prizes. Example:

Buccaneers Tickets, Disney passes, restaurant gift cards, weekend vacations, free hotel packages etc........ This will help keep the ticket price low and all extra money will go into the GHS C/O 90 Fund. This will also help with future planning, possibly a class 40th Birthday Party!

 

 

 

Committee #5 Saturday Family Fun Day at GHS (Must live in area to plan)

Family Fun Day will be held Saturday midmorning for a couple of hours. We will walk down memory lane at our old stopping grounds. This will be a great day to bring your whole family to tour the school and activities in the gym for the kids! Example: snow cones, face painting, games, popcorn, snacks and a whole lot more.... stay tuned!

 

Committee # 6 Food/ Drinks/ Dessert /Condiments

This committee will help organize and assist with the needs of special items needed for the weekend.

Need energetic alumni to get out in the community and sell space in our Memory Book!!!

The more we sell, the better ticket price at the reunion and this will help keep cost down!
